Green Room - Week 7 - Day 1

Greetings from Birthdayland. It's a certain 10-year old's birthday today, which means that the morning has been filled with opening presents and sleeping in late. Mostly sleeping in late. ;)

But that does give me a good transition to asking the Idol parents out there a question about LJ security procedures. She wants to have "a blog", and naturally I was thinking Livejournal was the place to be! (Because really, why shouldn't one more person go down with this particular ship? ;D) What do you think would be the best security set up for someone so that they could post, but their comments and visitors could be screened/checked out by us? Any general advice about kids getting their own space on the internet? (She's the only one of her friends who *doesn't* have one, which seems pretty scary to me... so I want to make sure that she is the one "doing it right")
