The Real LJ Idol Season 2: Round 5

At the end of the last season, when folks talked us into doing a second season of fan favorite LJ IDOL the one thing we kept hearing was the chance that onyxblue1, last season's second place finish would be winning this season. After all, she was experienced and had a decent fan-base...

So imagine our surprise when she dropped out early this week...which just goes to show, ANYTHING can and will happen in this competition...the strong can have RL interfere and become weak, and those currently seen as weak can become strong.

She dropped out before the deadline though, which means this week is STILL double-elimination as the race toward THE TOP TEN tightens...

HOWEVER (isn't there always one of those, it seems), mog_bane, who was saved from elimination in Round 3 by wikkidpixie's immunity, did not get her entry in on time and has been eliminated.

This leaves the voters deciding who the second person to be eliminated will be.
