I'm not taking part in this, but I wanted to point out that the strikethrough tags you're using to mark which people have submitted entries mean that it's impossible to tell whether you actually did it yourself or if the LJ account is suspended/deleted, because LJ does the same thing in that case.

Maybe it would be better to make the strike-through red instead?

Actually, I overslept, had to run an errand early, then came back to find my computer needing to be rebooted and beaten with a stick (okay, just one of those red licorice-laces). I already had the intro ready, just had thought, "I'll tweak this before posting it and then post the link." Glanced at the clock and it was really "exciting." Happy to be here!

Again, this is great . . . you are so clever for coming up with it. I can't watch the singing "American Idol" because I feel too sorry for those poor off-key warblers. Why don't they weed those bad singers out early? Because they want to mock them! And it's so sad! But I enjoyed "The Bad Girls Club" reality show. Maybe this can be a sort of text-based "Bad Girls Club" competition!

Thanks for your kind words. I'm overjoyed, and frankly a little overwhelmed at the level of support for my "little idea to kill some time"! It's very satisfying when other people can get something out of it as well - *I* have a lot of fun, but seeing other people who enjoy it, that's something special. Hopefully you will still like it by the time the finals roll around and not, oh say, want to hunt us down with a sharp object.*G*

The "Bad Girls Club" was a serendipitous (ooh, big word) discovery I made while channel-surfing around. I think it's on the Oxygen Channel on our cable TV. I was looking for something else . . . no, wait, I had just seen "The Good Girl," a very subversive film with Jennifer Aniston, and this came on. It was a real trip of trash girls in conflict. Fun!
