It's CLOSE. So you had better make sure your favorite stays. Honestly, I happen to like both of them. I'll be frank that there are still some folks that I haven't gotten a very good "take" on yet. Not that their writing isn't good, just that I personally haven't had a chance to get a feel for who they are yet.

But the two of them aren't in that group. So it's going to be bad either way it turns out as far as I am concerned. The more weeks go by, the harder it is going to be to say goodbye to people - and the closer some of these races are going to get.

I'm all angsty today because it's been 5 years since my favorite musician died. You know...that one that every single songs sounds like it was written by or for you? Yeah, it sucks but it'll pass. He was my angel in this crap life then he died.

I swear, I'm not like this all the time and I WILL NOT write my entry about Elliott Smith. I promise.

Not much going on today. The construction noises from outside are going right through my head! They are redoing the facade of our building so hammers, sanders, and drills are the order of the day.

Learned today that I'm probably going to have to deal with some walking pain for the rest of my life. It's not nearly as bad as it sounds, but the fact that my foot hurts every time I take a step does suck, so I wanted to vent a little bit.

I'm posting this here, since I've had no luck yet on my f-list. I hope that's okay!

I had been musing over a post all day yesterday, and when I came home and saw the topic, I thought this entry might be a good one for this week. I think it really shows a more intimate peek into my life, but it's on an unconventional topic and is longer than my other entries. I'm torn about whether it's a good fit for LJ Idol, or if I should just post it for my friends and do something else for this week's topic.

Life has been busy busy busy. I'm in Hell Week for the production of Titus Andronicus that we're putting on in Nashville *hint hint* Play opens Thursday and goes until the 8th of November.

Being a fight captain is hard work. But I love watching my castmates finally click with the combat. It's awesome.

Other than that, just working, and debating on if I will have time to do an entry or just take the bye. Is anyone else going "Open Topic? OMG WHAT AM I GOING TO WRITE?" in their heads?

A side effect of my weekend foot pain is that now my back hurts. I'm trying really hard not to spend my whole week whining about the various aches and pains I've been having recently, but I think it's clear that my warranty has run out (and that the whining continues). I think my parents should have bought the extended warranty when I was born. ;)

I"m home today having a mental health "sick day" and my bosses are not happy that I'm not there today. I needed it so badly!! Now I'm torn between being productive and working on the tax return I need to do for a client, or the work I brought home, or one of my other projects (like my entry for this week!) or just reading and vegging out and really taking a break today.

It doesn't help that I wasted half the day by sleeping till 11:00!! *laughs*

Got lots of stuff done yesterday. Am hoping to get more done today. (But thinking that I should go back to sleep first... didn't sleep real well last night.)

I want to make cookies today, but I can't decide between snickerdoodles or chocolate chip. *sigh*
