I'm going back to work for the first time in 5 days. 4 of those 5 I was sick so... I'm sort of glad to be going back to work.

Yesterday my friend Corey set up the new (to me) daybed in my 2nd bedroom for my niece and replaced all the outlets and switches in that room and the hallway. Jorge painted the hall and part of the kitchen. He's coming over to paint again today. Mark said he'd be over a couple of times this week to work on putting in more flooring.

Wednesday night I'll work on getting more stuff cleaned out of my living room in preparation for St Vincent de Paul coming hopefully next Saturday to pick some stuff up.

And hopefully I am really and truly done being sick.

I spent a bit of time this weekend talking to a friend about a dreamcatcher he wants for his girlfriend so I'm looking forward to that. We went to the grocery store this weekend so I'm looking forward to all the good food we plan on eating. Don't know about you but I love good food. :) Plus my sweetie will be coming home to me every night, that's something to cheer about. :D

And the executives at FOX are tearing what is left of their hair (or hair plugs) since the world series consists of two teams with loyal local followings but neither is a "national" team. They were praying for the BoSox vs. The Dodgers. Considering what they paid to show the World Series, they are crying in their scotch about now.

Trying to think some good thoughts for something that I am really hoping will be settled in our favor.

I'm starting my new job today as a Radio Producer!!! I have high hopes for THIS job considering I haven't been able to hold one down for about 6 years. Boo!

Hubby and I went to the Renn Faire this weekend. We're in NC. The one here is pretty nice. :cries b/c I no longer have my costumes: Now I have to rebuild one.

Well, it can't be last week!

My father is out of the hospital, although that is presenting new problems. My friend with the severe stroke is showing some progress. My severe panic attacks in reaction to the last week seem to be abating, which is a huge relief to me (I don't do fear). And, and this is the biggie, I will be debt-free in 10 months.

Today is my birthday (also happy birthday to lilly_rose, any others today?). Normally this puts me in a good mood all by itself, but I've been having foot pain all weekend (yes, I'm calling the doctor today) that has then made my back hurt and I ended up just staying home all weekend because of my foot. :P

So, if I'm hopeful about anything, I guess it's that I'm hopeful that my foot will start feeling better. :P
