Eliminations and Runoffs, Week Three

Wow- the numbers were exceptionally close this week and we're left with runoffs for two tribes!

First, though, we need to say goodbye to three fabulous players from the remaining tribes:

fireflylive.

It's never easy to say goodbye. You've been great players and you will be missed. Why not play the home game so that we can keep reading your entries?

Well thanks guys, it's been great. Where exactly do you post Home Game entries? Sorry but I haven't had the opportunity to do Green Room stuff, so apologies if the answer has been posted on one of those.

It's ok. You can post a Home Game entry in the Green Room. Eventually, later in the season, there will probably be a Home Game post, but right now just comment in the Green Room.

One thing to do is whomever is second or third to post in the Green Room, they can dedicate their thread to Home Game entries. They just have to edit the comment as soon as they realize they are not first. For the rest of the day, anyone with a HG entry can put a link to it there, instead of it getting lost further down in the room.

That's a great idea! I don't know that I'll get a chance to do it, as I'm stuck on my internship the next eight weeks (and I usually obsessively refresh the GR in school, but can't do that as an intern), but I would if I did.

Looks like I should have paid better attention to what I'd noticed past LJ Idols...poetry rarely goes over well.

Unfortunately, while all writing is subject to the reader's appreciation, it is even more so true with poetry. Many people also don't take the time to properly read poetry. I've moderated a poetry forum on a message board for years and most people never even bother to read much because it's poetry and it's supposed to make them think.

Thank you. :) Unfortunately, unless something major happens, I think me and my poetry are out of the running. Heh.

The funny thing is, I don't generally write poetry because I don't think I'm any good at it. But, writing about a "moment" seemed to lend itself well to a short poem, so I took the risk and hoped it would work out. Apparently, I should have stuck with prose. ;)
