After a week of ups, downs and some incredible entries about things folks tend not to say out loud too often - we come to something everyone can agree on – that it’s time for voting!!

I hope everyone takes the time to read all the entries and leave comments. The act of putting yourself out there can be scary at times. But like it or disagree with it more than you have ever disagreed with something before – I’m sure the writers would appreciate any feedback that you have.

There has been a little reshuffling of the tribes based on performance last week, (No one moved more than 1 tribe up though.) which will continue to happen through the season to keep things interesting! Last week taught us how *1 vote* can make all the difference! Make sure to get out to support your favorites!!!

Edited to Add: The bottom vote-getter in each tribe will be eliminated. (Would have been added sooner, but Tech Support went to Culver's.)

I'm curious about the decision to shrink Tribe 1 as a result. Tribe 1 is hypothetically the little-league, right? Part of that was safety in numbers. But now tribes 2 and 3 are huge and tribe 1 is the second-smallest.

If you're moving people into harder groups because they're more popular, but not moving people into easier groups because they're less popular, I'm not quite sure how that works out. It strikes me as potentially punishing the best writers by putting them in the wrong weight class just because they've been winning fights, while also punishing the rest of Tribe 1 by shrinking it and worsening the odds.

Demoting the unpopular writers (if it's due to lack of skill) would at least leave a consistent statistical cushion for those left behind in Tribe 1. At that point there are two levels of the game: do you win, and which level do you settle at? This could either be interesting or very very drama-prone. Make sure you have clear and preferably published guidelines for how tribe adjustment decisions will be made if you follow this through.

(I am not a contendah, and not friended or affiliated with anyone below class 5. I am, however, a rules and statistics geek. This is simply an observation of rules mechanics.)

I was kinda wondering that too. Not that I mind being moved up or anything, but --

A) if it's all the popular writers being moved into Tribe 3, they're gonna get voted out earlier than they would have just because of the numbers

and B) all the people with less votes being left in Tribe 1/2, by the time it gets down to smaller numbers (them vs the best writers in Tribe 3), the Tribe 1/2 people kinda have no chance so it's like, why bother?

ETA: right now I kinda feel like it's unfair to the Tribe 1 people -- they've got like a 1/10 chance of being voted off while the Tribe 3 people are actually safer because of numbers...

OMG! I forgot to enter! I have been overwhelmed the past few days with a photo project. I have been going insane trying to get this project done, and it went all wrong and now I have to shoot it again!! And today when calling for a prop I need (real dogs are hard to work with!!) no one is my city has what I need! I had been on the phone all morning looking for it! ugh

Now, today, I have to re-shoot the damn thing!

I have a running list of all the people I want to vote for, but i haven't read all the entries yet. I'm going through them from the topic post instead of the tribe list so I dont feel biased because someone's in a higher/lower weight class.

I'm so terribly, terribly afraid of the voting this round. I put a LOT of thought into my post but I'm not sure it's reflected this time...

I'm going to *try* to read every single entry this weekend, but Saturday = two roleplaying games and a ZA bear run (I HOPE I GET IT OMG), and Sunday = sleep late with my boyfriend and do nothing. Oh, and finish reading The Futurological Congress!

So, my grandma has been sending me the new state quarters in the mail every time they came out since they have been coming out. She has been expecting us to keep the coins in one of those maps.

I haven't been. Maybe I should have written about this? I should care about collecting quarters, but I don't. lol.
