Survivor starts tonight. The Amazing Race starts on Sunday - and oh yeah deadline for Topic 1 of a little something called LJ IDOL (maybe you've heard of it) is Friday at noon EST

Hopefully people are reading ahead - otherwise you will have *a lot* of reading to do this weekend. Trust me though, there are some really impressive entries out there. The talent pool of this season is *deep*.

I guess I'd better put out the buffet now.

*opens up fridge* Um. I have some butter. Anyone want some maple syrup? *looks closer at dish in the back to tell what it is* Maybe we should pass on putting that out.

I'm all a-squee about Survivor! I've never gotten around to watching 30 Rock - we watch too much other TV, LOL!

But I've read 35 entries so far... been impressed enough to put a tick into my spreadsheet for 22 of 'em. I plan on reading as many as I can between now and the end of the poll... we'll see if I can get to all of them or not!

All these spreadsheets and ticking make me feel like I'm not doing things right.

I read what I can and then at voting, I quickly click on the entries again to remind myself of who did what... and then I vote for myself and no one else. (I'm kidding... I put in votes for people... the ones who offered me chocolate or sexual favors... still kidding... not really... I would vote that way, if that ya know... happened)

Survivor we Tivo since then we can get through it in about half an hour by watching the parts we want to and get rid of the endless commercials and the taking head syndrome that Survivor suffers from.

What am I doing? Today I have a dr.'s appointment and a
blood test for my appointment next Monday. I also need to make an appearance at Current Employer so I can get my paycheck for the last week I worked. And then I get to go grocery shopping! Whee!

Morning all.

I will be chewing my perfect nails waiting for some loan papers [phase 1] and doing lots of busy work around the apartment.

I am going to go into my sewing room today, and start packing away some things that I need to box up so I can turn the space back into somewhere I actually want to work. Maybe moving the furniture around too.

Oh, and if you are wondering if DDR Hottest Party 2 (for the Wii) is worth getting... well, if you liked the first, you will love the second. If you have a Wii and want to try the franchise, the songs are a blast. I unlocked my Mii yesterday, so now it is my "head" dancing up there... damn funny, let me tell you.

Good morning, folks! There's biscuits and sausage gravy over on the table. The cook over there will make you MTO omelets, too. *munches on ham, mushroom, and cheese omelet* And there's strawberry, blueberry, chocolate chip, and cinnamon apple muffins, too! Because yes, I am just that awesome.

I was searching through the DVR last night. I have 14 episodes of "Are You Being Served?", 4 "Hangin With Mr. Cooper," 11 "Golden Girls," 15 "How It's Made," and 7 "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" to watch. I have no more room to DVR Survivor! (Not that I watch Survivor to begin with...)

Making cookies tonight to ship to St. Petersburg. (Because for those of you who haven't friended him yet, it's Mr. Gary's birthday on the 28th!!!)
