Had intended to get up early to get into work today...one of our main programs was down most of yesterday. Finally went up around 10pm last night so like a good little employee logged in from home and worked till midnight.

So, I'm not going to spoiler anyone, but I had so many problems with Heroes last night. I've had issues with the show since season 2. It's possible I'm going to give the show up this season. But omg Francis Capra.

I am only half alive this morning. Don't want to go to work! Somebody save me.

Also, I think this week's topic is going to take me a few days to finish. There's just a lot I need to think through and outline before I actually get to writing. It's a hard topic for the first week, but a good one. I'm one of those people who believes you can't move forward without regarding the past. So. I'm going to do that with this entry. Sometime before the end of the week.

Francis was such a little twerp when I worked with him. Yes, it's because he actually was a twerp (he was 11... I was 16), but still... it's was so weird watching him play a bald latino for three years.

For some reason I have a huge blind spot for Heroes. Even when other people are complaining, I still enjoy it. *sigh* There goes my claim to be an artiste.

Anyway, this was a tough topic to start with. I had to go take a walk for an hour just to get the basic framework set up, and once I did that I had to deal with the story twisting under my fingertips as I wrote it. What came out wasn't nearly what I thought I'd have. It's better, I think.

But it's been a long time since I did this, and I'd forgotten what it feels like to have characters defy you as you're writing them. Kinda fun....

Morning, all!

We DVRed Heros because my roommate watches it. Otherwise, John and I just really aren't interested in it. Instead, we watched MNF. And went to bed at 10:30 (which is like 2 hours early for us). We lead an exciting life. (And I didn't even make cookies last night. *tears*)

I'm a little cranky again today. Co-worker is getting bitchy because an order isn't in, even though I ordered it over a week ago. I'm like so over this job. Just gotta add this job to my resume, then I'll be able to start job-hunting again. *nodnod*
