I try to even those things out FL/experience/whatnot (especially the whatnot) into the season's structure. You can not tell everyone else- but you have to tell me! OK? Good.

Well, this weekend was filled with the pre-fall weather, which was nice. I'm at work right now and listening to a bunch of barking doggies that would like to go home.

I do have a huge oatmeal raisin cookie right now...so it ain't all bad. ;)

I mowed the lawn... haven't done that in several weeks, as it has been to dry for the grass to grow, but we had some rain last weekend and *poof* long grass.

Now I'm just relaxicating. :)

I was pretty happy with the weekend, we went to Brimham Rocks yesterday - this place near us that's just full of massive..well..rocks...
It was great, I took my climbing shoes and had a whale of a time :D I haven't been climbing for ages!!

It's nearly my birthday! 2nd October, I'm such a sucker for Birthdays so I'm very perky about it ^^

Getting ready to watch the Steelers/Eagles game. Gotta root for the Steelers so that my fantasy team doesn't suck any more. (I HAD THE PATS DEFENSE PLAYING. -4 POINTS. /headdesk)

Once the game is over, we're heading back home from Harrisburg. I did not get Waffle House this weekend. May stop at Sidling Hill for Popeyes and Starbucks on the way home. ;)

I had a homemade pizza nights with friends on Friday, visited my mama yesterday, went out to dinner and karaoke with my sis and other friends last night.

All good until I got a text message at like 10pm being told I was dumped. Lame.

I should've been doing schoolwork over the weekend (my weekend was long, too, had Thursday and Friday off), but I took our cats to the vet Friday and went to see my grandma yesterday and in between it all I mostly played World of Warcraft of messed around with my computer doing something else.

This morning I spent hours packing up books in boxes... When I won't be moving for almost another year. :P

Hurricane Ike has thrown me completely out of whack. I've been working in the dark for a solid week, and I finally remembered this morning (on my first day off from work since the hurricane passed over us here in Houston) that sign up was due TWO DAYS AGO.

Oh well, you should all count yourselves lucky: I was totally going to win this year (or at least crack the top 100 for once). ;)

I bought wool at a wool festival. It is pretty and pettable.

Then I went to my boss's wedding reception and watched him smash cake in his wife's face.

I've really never understood the cake-smashing thing.

I only just heard about the cake-smashing thing last weekend (I'm from England & I'm not sure we do it there?) and I was like "Wh... what?" just seems such a horrible thing to do to the woman you love who is supposed to be all gorgeous and special on her special day. People are weird.

Weekend going fantastic for me! Yesterday wasn't great, but I am back to my normal happy-go-lucky, positive self.
