I started reading the intro posts yesterday. There are already a lot of strong writers out there. This season is going to be tougher to judge than last season. (And dammit if I'm not already behind on my reading. *sigh*)

~Tomorrow I'm leaving work at lunchtime. John and I are going to Harrisburg to visit some friends (and also to give into our cravings for Waffle House) for the weekend. May talk John into stopping in Gettysburg on the way home. The Boyds Bear Barn is calling my name...

I'm so sad that I can't just stay home today and play in the GR! I have to go to work, albeit late. We're having an agency open house so I have to be there til at least 8 tonight. I'm exhausted! Being at a 3 day conference and having to be "on" the whole time was draining. Oh well, life goes on!

Why do so many people have icons of their IRL faces/selves?

Is it an honesty thing like, "look this is what I look like anyway" or what?

How am i doing?

I am sweaty from doing mom and me gymnastics. We walked there because it's close and it was nice out when we left, by the time we came back it was freaking HOT. Damn isn't it supposed to cool off in September?

I haven't gotten to many intro posts yet, I swear I will try to tonight. Plus I have to make my nifty little spread sheet to keep track of everyone.

Good Morning! What am I doing? Procrastinating, that's what! I really should be, like, working but instead I'm sitting here agonizing over what to write for my intro posts because they are like the worst topics ever (and totally glad we've not being voted on them).

Beyond that, I'm about halfway through reading the intros. And I think that there is such a great amount of talent here that I'm happy to be a part of this and hope to try and get to know everyone.

Also? Realizing that I'm insane for doing this while modding for NaNo... like I have the free time as it is...

See, someone else helpfully installed Vista on it before I got here, so I get to reimage it with XP. Except... I've never Ghosted a system before so whee! Breakage here we come... I figure far far better to break my own than to do it later when time is critical.
