Well one day down and the rest of the week to go with signups and we are currently standing at about 85!! Not bad for a day.*G*

A little over half of those people are brand new. Which if you know me at all you know that one of the reasons I do this is the overwhelming sadistic urge to eliminate people week after week finding new and interesting people and discovering writers that I personally enjoy reading!

Hopefully everyone will take the time to make the "newbies" feel welcome. I wish I had more time to sit around and talk to welcome each of you individually, but until I do - Thank you so much for showing up! For that matter, thanks to the veterans who have come back! Always nice to see old friends too. (you're not as shiny as the new ones though, heh, you're old!*G*)

Called off work today. Just didn't give a grap. Am handing in my two-week notice. Am going to call the college I graduated from to see if they have any other positions that they could send my resume to. I'm just tired of the grap there, and I don't see myself there for the next few years. Thanks, but no.

In other news... Possible lunch buffet, courtesy of Wok. But for now, there's fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, and yogurt over on the counter. I'm going back to bed.

Good morning everyone.

Well, I am trying to transition to Motrin today, as I surely cannot stay on Percocet forever. I'm waiting a bit to make sure I'm OK before I drive the babe to his babysitter.

I did go to the doctor yesterday, and she looked at the ultrasound and ct scan and said that his horrifying pain is being caused by a 1.5 cm cyst. Now, to me that sounds big but she seemed to think that was small. Fine. Verdict? If I'm still in pain in 6 weeks they'll do another ultrasound to see if it got bigger. So yes, ultimately I could be in pain for more than 6 weeks, or it could just dissolve and I'll be fine in a few days.

So that's it. Wish me luck.

Oh honey I feel for you.

My first one was 2cm (11/2006) and it was horrid. T3s for me for a week, then Motrin. When they checked it the second time, it had shrunk to 1.5cm, I was still in pain, and I was told "well, it shrunk, so we are not going to treat it." Motrin for a while longer then I said screw it. It eventually stopped hurting on its own.

I surprised myself by making it into the top thirty when I had a very, very small circle of personal friends on LJ. So you see, it really is anyone's game.

And I'll let you in on a secret: he's found a way to encode crack on the Internet and serve it up in LJ Idol. It tastes like cookies. So it's useless to say this is a one time gig and you won't be back...you will.

I must say, it's a sad day in the Wok house. I just found out that John had finished eating the container of Swedish fishies. (My live friends know EXACTLY what container I'm talking about.)
