I don't care what you say, I think the ending of Bones was awesome!*

I can't believe that Hurley was in the house with Hugh Laurie!**

(*Note: I don't actually watch Bones, so I don't know what happened. I just know that everywhere on my FL people are talking about it negatively, so I figured I'd defend it!*G*)

(** I heard there was something about someone in a house. Hurley is on LOST, and Hugh Laurie of course is "House".)

*yawn* Another day another long nap on the bus! So what are you guys doing today?

*stop it*...

We watch House & Bones....

Hugh Laurie - I find him fascinating...and his character more so. There have been episodes when he goes into disassociative states and I love his voice - it's kind of sexy. He's an asshole but he's really not, I like contradictory, conflicted characters like that.

But then I've heard him really talk on interviews and that sexiness is completely shattered - I mean his real voice is quite the contrast to House's. We've Tivo'd it -- so PLEASE no spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we'll catch up on Bones at some in the week.

*waves*...

I need to start up writing my innerworld series...gonna kick it up a notch

House (well, Hugh) does great with concealing his British accent, but it's his eyes that get me... *sigh*

Actually..he's australian..not british.. :)

But yes..he does have nice eyes...

Noooo... he's actually British, not Australian.

Per IMDB:
Hugh was born in Oxford, England on June 11, 1959. He was educated at Eton and Cambridge. Son of an Olympic gold medalist in the sport, he rowed for the England youth team (1977) and for Cambridge (1980). He met Emma Thompson at Cambridge in 1978 when both joined "Footlights" and was introduced to Stephen Fry by Emma in 1980. Hugh is married and lives in London with his wife and three children.

I sold my soul to the boob tube when I was laid off. :(

Ahhh. That makes sense.

We rent DVDs of some of the better series out there, but I usually would rather be reading. Or skimming the other boob tube, my laptop.

In the house I shared with three friends, we had three TVs, and three video recorders. One of my friends watched so much TV, that if she was going to be out, she would record shows on all three videos. I found that quite amazing, until I met you Gary! *g*

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

I had to withdraw from a class at university because I didn't watch reality TV. I would have failed because of it!

Ehat the hell?

That's just crazy! Seriously.... I would have withdrawn, too.

WTF, was that at all related to the topic, or was this the "cool" professor trying to be contempory and popular?

That was the class I was taking - TV and Popular Culture. We had to watch Survivor, Big Brother etc in order to get through the class. I am not a reality TV junky like some of my friends, *g* and wasn't going to become one.

Gary, you would be the star student!

Heck, you could probably teach the class! *g*

I'll probably watch more TV when I move back out on my own, as there are shows I like to watch.

Top Gear, Myth Busters etc, though most of what I watch is on DVD these days.

Cleaning as Peter and I are going to New Mexico for our anniversary.

We came in second. But it was more that the other team bowled better rather than we bowled badly.

Second is awesome, esp since you said you did so badly last year! Congrats!

Congratulations! Second is still a good place to be!

Have a wonderful time in New Mexico! I hope I can get to New Mexico one of these days, as I'd love to learn more about the Navajo Indian culture.

Safe travels, and happy anniversary!

Here at work. Have an executive committee meeting of the IL council today at 11. Other than that nothing major. doing the usual intakes, maybe starting on transportation reports. In other words. Boring. I didn't see House last night so will have to catch it another time. Sigh. The finals in the inferior Idol cousin tonight. So that is where I'll be.

I've got 4 hours off work this morning for Voting Leave (KY primaries - finally), so I don't have to be in to work until 1pm (8-12 for voting leave, 12-1 for lunch, working 1-4:30). W00t.

I slept until about 10am, got up, made some tea and a bagel, finished cleaning out the "whatnot" wall unit in preparation for denuding the carpet in the leaving room to get Pergo floors put down. He's to come start on it tomorrow - whee!

I'm working today. I never thought I would have this much business so quickly.

Now, if something would close soon, I will have business and money too, and life will be good.

I *do* watch TV but I was busy watching Dancing With The Stars last night, and chatting on Live, so I didn't watch Bones.

And I have ideas for 2 out of 3 of my entries now, so I just have to start writing them.

I have no clue about any of this reality TV show stuff.

I'm truly a boring sort. I like old game shows, TV Land, Nick at Night, and sci-fi.

Oh wait, I do watch some reality TV. It is called the news. Gunna go turn it on since all I am doing is waiting for some repair guy to come over. Having trouble with the cable modem. It is pretty old so it may be starting to die. If that is the case guess we will have to have a funeral for an old modem that has been a good friend.

Yes, I'm strange when I am bored.

Didn't fall asleep till after 5am last night (because I was up reading smut books), so I didn't actually wake up till 4pm. OMG! I feel so relaxed and refreshed though! :^)

24 days until we go to the beach. I am totally psyched! I started washing the clothes and sheets/towels that we are taking.
