well last night I was getting all bothered by some particular internet shenanigans. I was totally going to write a big long angry post about it, which probably would have made some other people angry.

And then out of nowhere I just said to myself "Don't drive angry" which made me laugh and then I was able to just let it all go.

I'm off to mama baby day.

Except that I'm working too.

Tomorrow, we have a baseball game at night, and then we are going to a hotel near the ballpark, and in the morning we are having brunch at the Market Inn. The best part is NO BABY. Because well, it may be Mother's Day but it's also my anniversary.

My plans for the weekend involve buying shoes, getting my hair cut, finishing another corset (but this one is boring and for me), and attending a black-tie dinner function at the Supreme Court Saturday night.

There will be Justice! (or something like that)

Should I take photos of the SCOTUS (http://www.supremecourtus.gov/) and post them?

Buying shoes is always a fun thing! I'm here at work. The computers are so slow! Our computer geek hasn't shown up yet and it's driving me crazy. It took me 45 minutes to get through work email and enter a little data. Oh well. It's Friday. This is a good thing.

With the weather's permission our pavilion will go up this weekend (YAY) so that all I have to do is pitch a tent in a couple of Fridays and start spinning yarns of one kind or another.

I'm also looking after cats.

I hate buying shoes. I have rectangle-shaped feet.


My real shoe size is a 6WW. That is nearly impossible to find, so I tend to buy a 6.5W, unless the shoe is one of those incredibly pointed-toe pumps. Then I might look at a 7, but have to worry about blisters if I wear them too long.

Add to this I can not wear heels higher than 2 inches, and I am looking for a shoe to go with this formal dress...

I hate shoe shopping.

Oh and I thought I had problems buying shoes. I have a very narrow foot and one of my feet tends to turn out (it's a blind thing...looking with your feet). So I have to find just the right shoes. And heels don't work for me because I work a guide dog and it's not always a good thing to wear heels or open toes. I do wear the open toes in the summer though because I have a cautious dog. Hopefully you can find the right shoes. There are a lot of flatter styles...maybe a little strappy sandal?
