For those who have been asking, kithan is safe in Vegas.
Vegas however isn't as lucky, it has to put up with her for the rest of the week!!! *Shakes head* Poor Vegas!!*G*

Today's my last day of vacation *sigh* I need to take Ember to the vet's and myself to the doctor's.

Since my HG entry was all about traveling today, this is kind of a funny GR for me.

Anyway... my travels today will involve running some errands around DC and hanging around my apartment trying to finish up some projects from the weekend. It looks like Blues might be heading out of town for the rest of the week (*sigh*) so y'all might be stuck with more of me than usual.

it's been a tough weekend.

I've been having some downtime... Carrie's been out lately.

One of her friends passed away yesterday. In fact we were heading to the hospital to go see her and to find out she passed away a half hour before we arrived. (we were able to see her and spent some time with her family to help clean up).

I think it'll be a long week

I've been searching for a flight to Louisville that won't cause me to mortgage my house. Good grief! Flights are all over the map as far as price goes. I finally got one from Albany to Louisville for $292. Not too bad. But it took searching.
I'm home today...last day of long weekend. Don't know what I'm going to do yet.

My travels have already taken me to work. I'd really like to start the weekend over again, it was very nice.

Also, my "tummy troubles," as I euphemistically call them, have been acting up the past few days, so my stomach is all hurty and ick.

Today is "get ready to travel tomorrow" day. Since we are going out of town tomorrow, we have a huge list of things to do (including getting the garbage together, packing 3 bags including the pup's, dishes and laundry, car inspection...).

Tuesday-Saturday I will be at the mercy of two little boys (Rusty who's 4 and Jacob who's 3). They do flying swantan flips off of their bunkbeds like Jeff Hardy does on TV. :^)

Sunday is Mother's Day, so I'll be spending the day with my family. John's mom is celebrating it the weekend after (also with his grandfather's birthday), so we don't have to split this holiday at least.
