April has been a fairly uneventful month...so I can't really think of anything either way.

That NW Arkansas Naturals-Springfield (Mo.) Cardinals game lasted 14 innings, until about midnight. It was a blast, even though we lost.

I'm only up because even though I'm off work, my body's conditioned to get up at 5:30 every morning. *groan*

EDIT: Oh sorry, that didn't answer the question... well, the best thing I guess *is* the vacation, although it's also been pretty cool to watch Annabelle try to stand up by herself (still needs a little help, will still be a while).

Worst? Getting sued by a credit card. I've told some people this, and the typical response is, "What kind of credit card has the nerve to do this? Usually they just trash your credit for seven years and that's it!"

* The best thing so far this month is the local job interview for which my partner just left, after a great phone screen last night. Fingers crossed.

* The worst thing so far this month was losing a distribution contract for one of our lines of audio dramas. Punched me in the gut, that did.

* To counter the worst, and while I'm waiting for results from the best, I've put up the introduction to the Blog Stoker's DRACULA Project, 2008 Edition (http://norda.livejournal.com/440741.html) that I mentioned here in the Green Room last week. The novel proper starts May 3rd, but I'll be putting up snippets of other gothic stuph between now and then.

Best? Hubby landed a contract with the regional association of a nationwide company. They love him. They want him to do more work. They asked him to appear before the national board of directors/CEO at the annual meeting next month. We're hoping this is going to launch him into a steady FT gig. Please pray for us!

The best thing to happen this month? My husband finally received his own authority in trucking and he is returning to the road tomorrow.

The worst thing to happen this month? We had to give one of our cats back to the humane society. It just wasn't working out. :^(

Hi all.
Busy day. I am preparing for a Social Security hearing for one of my consumers today so have been copying and faxing info and getting last minute medical records. The judge I'm dealing with today is a real jerk so it is not a pleasant thought. Not that an SS hearing is a good thought but some are better than others.
It's a beautiful day so the walk to the hearing will be enjoyable. Hopefully I'll have time to chatlater.
Best thing this month? Getting asked back into the competition.
Worst thing this month? Dealing with my MIL! Arg.

A few good things about April:
~Finally have my boyfriend around again and he's treating me like a princess.
~Tax Season is OVER!
~It's finally warm enough to take my puppy for walks.
~I got my new cell phone on Monday!
~The $1 lingerie sale last week (bras, panties, corsets, etc). *squee*

A few BAD things about April:
~The huge fights with boyfriend almost resulting in our break-up.
~Giving up Live and almost deleting my LJ.
~Losing my job and realizing just how dependent I was on it.
~Having to work my ass off to find a new job.

Other than that, I'm pretty good today. Have some errands to do today, so I'm going to be leaving soon.

Okay, I just thought of something.

SCREW my errands. I'm going to clean my office today and mail out resumes. I haven't used my office in months because all of the Christmas crap got thrown in there. I guess today is as good a day as any to start. Plus since I have a DVD player in there, I'm going to "watch" some DVDs to keep me occupied. (Wll post pics to prove that it is clean. lol)

The best thing this month?

I've gotten flowers every single day this month via flower delivery, pictures of flowers in my email, and my son picking the neighbors pretty tulips for me (I did explain after the fact that you can't just take the neighbor's flowers like you pick dandelions).

The worst thing that happened to me this month?

The other day when my car trembled and died. This is not good. Not good at all.

Okay. Office is semi-clean. (Took a break to eat lunch.) Realized that I didn't want to watch ANY of the DVD series I posted earlier, so I watched some MST3K instead. I also baked a german chocolate cake...

The best? Today is Administrative Professional's Day - I've been showered with presents! Helium ballons, a cake, a gift card to Hobby Lobby and to Starbucks, a pink cotton henley sweater, a coral pink cotton top, a pair of Mutts Organic pajamas that say "Recycle Hugs" on them (see icon - I love their stuff - I've got at least four sets of their PJs!), and a new coffee mug decorated with butterflies - so cute!

The worst? Having to get my tire replaced and a new set of rims to replace the old, corroded ones!
