It is my last day of my mini-vacation.

But it is only 39 days until I go to Vegas. Yay!

And now it looks like I'm going to San Diego for a week in June, too.

Hooray for Vegas! I have never been. I really don't enjoy gambling, though I am told that I don't actually have to gamble to have fun there. Adam went when he and I had first started dating, and since he went with his marginally-famous stepfather, he got a royal treatment. I think the prospect of going like a regular person is keeping him from going again.

San Diego is Awesome. I could totally live there.

I had a weird dream last night where three characters from Scrubs (Carla, JD, and Turk) rescued a sorceress from an evil king. Their only escape was the haunted ghost woods. Fortunately the lead singer from Toad the Wet Sprocket was in the woods and kept them safe.

Very weird.

Incredibly wonderful entries this week... I am sorta bummed to not be voting! I already have a couple clear favorites from the group already posted... Well, ok, a couple might be an understatement... All the more reason to be bummed to not be able to show my support! I will try to make more commenting time today...

In other news, I am insane. I actually left my ATM card in the machine and drove away on Monday night... Yesterday, i had to go all shamefaced and begging at the bank to get it back... Sometimes, being in a small town where everyone knows you is a bit embarrassing... Also trying to break the baby of his pacifier (he calls it MyMy)... yesterday was a tough day on a little guy... no MyMy until nap and bedtimes is the new rule. he rebelled by smearing ketchup on the remote. *sigh* New entries need to be posted! I have read all these and I need the escape!

I'm at work and waiting for someone to come in for me to help him with his SS paperwork. Then I have a long boring teleconference this afternoon.

There is some sort of plague going around the office and I hope I manage to avoid it.

As for Vegas, I love it! Imagine a couple of years ago, about 1000 blind people invading a Vegas casino. We were there for a convention. Security had to fish a lot of lost blind people out of the maze of slots. It was rather amusing actually! haha. Hope all have a good day and I'll read when I can.

I have been craving candy, more specifically chocolate, for the last few days. Indulging in it before bed was NOT a good idea, as I'm far from tired.

We had to take one of the cats to the vet because he was folding his ear down and walking funny. He has a pretty serious inner ear infection that we have to give him meds for. Always a fun time.

My sweet 16 brackets are a disaster so I am going to go back and repick with the groups left.

Yesterday (tuesday) was my first real day back to work - last week was a bit fucked up. I sat through a 3 hour All Hands meeting, too long for my taste but lunch was included. I go to work in the afternoon and of course I won't have time to do any GR stuff while I'm there.

Pinocchio is a very nice Italian children's book, that's quite fun to read when your a child, or even a non Italian adult reading it when first learning the language. So I guess my vote is none of the above.
