I went on a hot date last night with the elusive Ms. Sue Smith (http://ljidolpresspass.livejournal.com/1845.html#cutid1). We shared a few bottles of wine, listened to Bright Eyes, and discussed our feelings...and then I finally got her to confess that my theory is true. There is a secret alliance among the top ten people on the list. And the list was actually leaked to her by an 11th person, who was originally asked to be on the list, but he got so offended by the unfair idea that he stormed off filled with rage and eventually contacted her with the juicy, juice details.

Personally, I'm frightened by this knowledge. I feel like I've stumbled onto the Pelican Brief. I keep looking over my shoulder and wondering if someone is going to run me down in a van while I'm picking up my mail.

And OMG, two of them have birthdays this weekend! Or is it really two people??? I think that maybe they are actually the SAME person--a scary Russian mobster who is really into online journaling--running two journals and creating fake battles!!! Oh no, I've said too much.....

What really sucks about freelancing and tax season when you work for a number of companies is the number of pieces of paper you have to make sure that you have in your possession or your accountant tends to get a wee bit annoyed with you (something about a 2X4 I think was the last threat). So I am trying to make sure that we have all of these fine forms in one place since they come to three different addresses depending on who the client was.

My day has been amazing so far, because Georgetown beat Louisville, and, as we all know, NCAA Basketball is the next best thing to LJ Idol.

It is a sad testament to my housekeeping skills that I have been cleaning house since 10 a.m. and my house still looks like hell.

My babysitter is now 17 minutes late and I have to go host a High Tech gaming event at the library for my teens.

I'm so tired from this crazy week and next week is shaping up to be the same. YUCK. *SIGH* I need some rest. I did get Juan of the Dead Chapter 3 posted... hehehe I'm having so much fun with that. Thank you Idol!!! :)

In other news, those of you who know Caramon has been working really hard to earn money for a wii as a boy scout merit badge requirement... he's just shy of the 200 mark!!! Woot! The infernal contraptions cost 250 bucks they are in so he's very close! He's also ahead of schedule. He just left to try to find more work in the neighbourhood!! He's impressing me a lot with his hard work! We went out lusting again today ;) I think our "wishlist" of games is up to about 700 dollars! HAHAHAHA

But soon we'll be able to have a Wii party! I'll bake brownies!
