I have to take Waylon to the vet this morning. He's got a ruptured ear drum so he's going to have to be put under light anesthesia so the vet chan check its progress. Poor boy.

I've got so much crap to do it isn't funny. This is my first day off in over a week.

Dinner = brisket in the crock pot. I can't deal with anything more complicated at this point.

Let's see...there's some minor shopping; a quick visit to an ex's parents to thank them for dinner the other weekend (a story in itself -- hadn't heard from them in almost 20 years until Mom died); I've got some bank stuff to do that I'm not looking forward to; I need to start shredding a bunch of outdated personal papers...and I know I'm probably forgetting something else. Argh.

The Kidz deserve nice long walks today. They're predicting thunderstorms by noontime, so I've got to get my rear in gear as soon as I finish breakfast.

It's finally Friday! YAY! I was updating the poll table last night and fell asleep mid-update. I took that as a sign and closed up for bed. :)

I just have to get through until 10:15 tonight. Week 1 of 8 weeks o' mucho work before Vegas will be done.

It looks like another interesting day. Yesterday, I got home at 3am after leaving the house at 12:30pm.

Today, I'll likely get in much earlier, as we're anticipating a possible 6" of snow on top of freezing rain. fun fun

Wow. Today's GR is much livelier than yesterdays.

I am taking the day off (yay), and just took an ENORMOUS pile o'trash to the street for the kind men from the city.

Now I shall feast upon a breakfast of cold fried chicken, leftover from last night.

I haven't read any entries yet, besides my dear partner chite's, which is delightful. :)

Also, we're going to have SNOW (in Louisiana) today. Two days after the high was 70 degrees. We're expecting 2 to 3 inches, which will effectively paralyze the entire city.

So I'm snuggling in and reading posts today with my kitties. muhahahahahaha

When you mentioned trash I had to jump up and glance at the street.

Dear husband forgot to take ours up there last Friday. With the can completely full, our home was filling with trash bags and starting to look like schizophrenic pack rats had taken up residence in the laundry room!

I'm up so early! I first checked the GR at 8:30 today, definitely a personal record.

I have an advising appointment at 10, then I need to pick up my prescription (starting OCPs, I'm excited!), pack, and board my bus home at 4 today! Spring break, weeee!

I'm a bit concerned about my partner getting her entry in on time...Worst case scenario, what happens to me? Do I brave the poll alone? Ack!

Okay, so went to bed at 5 right after posting my entry. Woke up at 10 minute intervals to cough up random body parts. Woke at 6:30 to find the dog had been "back-door sick" and had stained the carpet, so had to scrub carpets at 6:30 am.

So I'm running on 1.5 hours of sleep (or thereabouts), and I have to meet my parents tonight for dinner directly after a full day of work. Riiiight.

Hey, this place is full! That's what I get for not grabbing the computer first thing.

Today's going to be rough. I really wish a) caffeine wasn't a problem for pregnant women and b) a drank coffee even when I wasn't pregnant. I could use the kick in the patoot today.

I've got to make a cake for a one of my night crew. Tonight is her last night. Of course, the time I have to make it (because I forgot to get my pan back from one of my other team members after the last party and he's dropping it off today) is when I normally nap. At least it's Friday.

This weekend has been declared Mama Day, so that means I'll be able to catch up reading the posts I haven't had a chance to read yet. But I've got to admit, it's going to be hard to vote again. There are too many good posts out there!

I'm at work but my brain's already working on the weekend plans (and panicking appropriately).

I've read about half the entries so far this week, and there has definitely been some good stuff out there. I realized that the problem with posting early in the week is it gives me far more time to angst than when I post on Thursday or Friday!

If I don't get back to say it before end of day, because I'll be too busy zooming about to check much this weekend -- happy weekend everybody!

I just logged on to weather.com to check the forecast after a text message from my dad saying he heard Alachua county was pretty bad. I typed in my zip and immediately got a huge red pop-up saying "A TORNADO HAS BEEN REPORTED IN YOUR ZIP CODE - SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY!"

Well, darn. So much for going out.

Claudia has today & Monday off from work and we're gonna get everything inside our old place packed and ready for the movers tomorrow.

After tomorrow - it'll be completely over.

I think the deadline is 1 EST which by my calculations gives them an hour plus a couple of minutes...I think there are those (myself usually included) that wait until the last minute to get them up...
