Trying to wake up. Trying to check my email and LJ despite the fact that a kitty is demanding all of my attention!

Today I take my oldest cat to the vet. She's been sneezy and snotty for awhile now, and her nose is starting to bleed. I've been putting off the trip to the vet because it always ends up costing $200 every time I walk in the door, but I can't put it off any longer.

Need more coffee.

Did not sleep last night.

I started having an anxiety attack at around 11:00 and could take nothing to help me sleep because the husband is on codeine for his flu and someone has to be lucid with a baby in the house.

SO I wrote my entry, which at least got some of the stuff in my head to shut up, but I still didn't sleep.

And now it's morning and my husband already took more codeine so now I have to stay awake with the baby.

I'm the usual tired. Wish I could kick it, but I suspect it will be a few more weeks before the baby stops draining all of my energy.

One good thing, though. Rich is taking me to see Rent at TPAC for a belated birthday gift! I've been wanting to see this show for over 10 years and every time in the past that I've thought I was able to go, something came up and scuttled it. This year, though... I shall be sitting at the edge of my seat, eyes shining as I mouth along with Maureen and Joanne as they sing "Take Me or Leave Me" or with the cast as they sing "La Vie Bohem" or... well, every song, actually. I month is seeming like a really long time.

Just got back from the vet's. We've got antibiotics to fight off infection, and later on we'll decide if we want to try a dental cleaning & extraction, since it's likely that an abcessed tooth is causing the nasal discharge.

I know the medical history of my 18-year-old furball is SOOOOO fascinating to you guys ;-)

TOday I'm taking the kids to homeschool gym. WOOT! I'm also meeting with a personal trainer to learn about the system the Y uses. YAY.

We've been doing some homeschool planning and have loads to still do before we can leave for the Y! YIKES! And I still have to prepare a review for another website and post it. THen print it and yesterday's off to take tonight! ACK
