Good morning.

I've been thinking a lot over the last few days just HOW MUCH I love this game. Even the "problems" that people have with it are based on the types of things that are versions of big life/ethical issues, the type that end up invoking some serious questions about what you would or wouldn't do in your decision making process. It brings in the questions of "what is popular and why is it become the opposite of talented in some people's minds - and what does that say about those people?" It shows up with game theory and strategy - and the nature of friendships in the face of adversity. . . and oh yeah, some INCREDIBLE writers doing their thing.

Surivor starts tonight!!! Whoo hoo!!! LOST is on right after that - which combined means I don't even answer my phone for most of the night!

Granted, Fairplay is back, but Jeff Probst did say, in an interview, that he "doesn't stand a chance to win", and considering how much he hates the guy I'm hoping that's a big hint of an early boot. PLEASE. Once he's gone I have a feeling this will be a fun season.

Two hour delay for school so I got an extra hour of sleep!! *dances* Of course, this means I'll be two hours late for work, but right now, not much on the caring about that.

And oh YAY oh Survivor starting tonight. Yau-man and Cirie!!!

I need to get the husband into a Lost viewing mood (usually kicks in when we've several episodes recorded, and then we watch them all in one big bunch and wonder why we haven't been watching them all along because it's sooo brilliant). And Jericho returns next week!! I'm so happy for that one.

First episode was so, so good...

I was stunned when the Vikings came out of the forest, raised the beach village, and ate 10 crash survivors. It was a game-changing event.

I just started reading the latest Sue Grafton book, T is for Trespass, and have a feeling that now I've started, it will be some time before I put it down tonight.

I had this really bizarre dream that I was hanging out with the Osbournes and the kids wanted me to get them weed and I refused to do it. Hey all.

Not much to say, except that I bought a $250 automatic kitty litter box yesterday with a CLOCK on it, and it doesn't work.

My two new kats are doing well, and my roommate started moving in last night.

I'm not using the power. Hate me for it if you want, and I'm REALLY sorry about this, but people keep changing their minds and I'm not going to force anyone in. I'm embarrassed, and I'm sorry.

My Idol entry is really special to me this week. I've written everything except the conclusion- it's in draft format in a protected post for me and golden_sands, who offers unbelievable moral support. Sometimes I write my entries for everyone's entertainment, and sometimes I write them for myself. This week is for myself.

Amazon hasn't sent my school books in yet, and I'm starting to fall behind. I'm a little nervous about this. I canceled most of my weekend plans to try to catch up.

I'm off to write about termites and carpenter ants for the day. I'll come say hi when I can. I'd love to hear recommendations for good Idol entries this week!

After 3 days of continuous rain, it's now snowing. And it's sticking. Snow almost never sticks on already-wet ground ---???

This has been an emotionally-draining week. I can't get into it right now, but I'm starting to get the help I need to navigate through the muck.

Wow! I'm glad you have the option of avoiding that altogether, it sounds like a huge mess out there. I couldn't imagine being stranded in a car for nine hours in the cold, I'm sure it would traumatize me if I didn't freeze to death first.

I have received only one bit of feedback on my entry this week and mine was like the 7th one posted!

Spydie...anyone...do you think I should scrap it and go a different route? It felt important and relevant on Monday night but now that Super Tuesday has come and gone I am thinking I made to find something more interesting in a hurry.

Edited to add: The past two weeks have been pretty nuts. Along with work and kiddos I am part of the murder mystery dinner cast our community theater group puts on each year and I have been rehearsing and running around and repeating lines in my sleep. This hasn't given me much time to hang out over here, boohoo!

Today is Chinese New Year...my new year. In some ways, I start out better than I did last year; in other ways not so much. But I woke up to a "happy new year" text from my neighbor, & I think I'm going to hang the dragon in the stairwell anyway. Than it's back to looking for work.

There is talk that given how close the delegate count is for the Democrats that it could come down to a decision made by the Super Delegates.

I'd rather it come down to a decision by the Super Friends. What would Apache Chief do????
