Charlie's Angels TV vs Movies!

Yesterday's Green Room -- we started a thread about Charlie's Angels (my name's Charlie and all) Thought it'd be fun to name some of the girls as the characters and write some fun stuff about either the series or the movies.

Since we all vary in age (ouch I know I'm bloody OLD!) I'd like to pick 6 girls and at least one guy to Play John Boseley (there's Jimmy Boseley AKA Bernie Mac). Few gals have already mentioned which ones they'd like to be...I'll list which ones are open and then not.

My sister came up with new term (well new to me) called anticrastination. Rather than putting things off, you go ahead and do them.

I have read through the entries so far and there is not a weak one in the bunch. I almost want to go back and rewrite mine but I am not sure if that is allowed.

Wild Night

Stupid bloody sirens kept me up most of the night, so I sat on a chair by the window and watched our old fir tree cradle our house from the storm.
At one point the sheets of wind, rain and thunder held off for about 10 minutes and there was perfect stillness and anticipation.
Then Nature ripped through with all her Wild Glory and sang a lullaby to the tornado sirens.
It was a really beautiful night.

Just recovering from the storms last night... we were SO lucky (at my house) but my county didn't fare as well as we did... Overall though, we had no loss of life that has been reported as of yet... I know the toll was up to 8 or more for our region (West Tennessee) and Union University, where my niece will attend in the fall, was devastated... a few kids were even trapped for several hours... *shakes head* I used to love storms... then I got older, had kids, owned stuff... now I cringe at every clap of thunder...

Today is my bf's birthday and I made the mistake of joking about giving him crappy love poetry for his birthday- rather than saying 'dear god, no!' like a sane man, he decided it would be more fun to see what I came up with... I don't know why I expected sanity from anyone willing to date me.

So anyway, now I have to come up with crappy love poetry- I have been told that plagiarism is a fine and lovely thing (which is to say he at least says he doesn't care if it's original crappy love poetry) so, anyone have any crappy love poetry or even just lines they'd like to suggest?

Hey all.

My Tuesday class. The professor is very intelligent and competent, but oh, he's SO boring. Combine that with the fact that I can haz intarnetz because I'm sitting in front of a computer, and it's all over.

I changed how I'm using my power. Instead of doing the match between ewok and dragonfluff, I'm taking on n_decisive. Based on our ranking on the polls and the fact that I've decided to only use my power with someone willing to volunteer, it's the fairest matchup I can think of. She's an absolutely fantastic writer, and I have an enormous amount of respect for her. She's also been a great force in the game, carefully reading everyone's entries and leaving real, positive, thoughtful comments on each one. If anyone here represents what I've been trying to do myself in this game, it's her and tulip_in_yellow. Whichever of us go, I'll be sad, but I'm not making someone else fight battles for me and I think the power should be used.

That being said, I'm going to start my entry and possibly finish it tonight. If not, tomorrow's being dedicated it as well. All I want from this is a clean, honest round. Please help me make that happen.

I am a little nervous to be honest. We are in central Georgia and that storm is on its way as I'm typing. It's just overcast and humid at the moment- and 70 degrees, crazy - but my flag is starting to whip around on the front porch.

I pick my daughter up at preschool at 11:30 and from there the kids and I will head to work at the library. The bad storm is expected from 12-3 and we will be in a hastily built shopping plaza by the lake. If the power goes out, we're coming home!
