Another week has passed and a poll has closed.

The two entries with the fewest amount of votes received a strike for their creator. This week there was a three-way tie, which means there is one extra.

*glances at spreadsheet* Unfortunately, two of those people were on their final chance, and now have their third strike (and have been eliminated)

The third goes to adoptedwriter , who now has her first strike. The good news there is that because of the format we will get to enjoy more of her work in the weeks to come!

Aww, I feel bad. Not because I struck out. I deserved that. I feel bad because I wasn't fair to you guys. I wasn't a good player this season. I gave you all far less than you deserved.

I had a hard time with this prompt and wasn't going to let it be the death of me by taking a bye. that thought led me down the murder mystery path and to Dr Love that actually did kill his wife with frozen meat according to my grandmother.

Oh well. It's always a good time.

It was the memory of my grandmother talking about a real Dr. Love that killed his wife with a frozen piece of meat and then ate the evidence that saved me from taking a bye. That prompt just left me with nothing.

This game is always a good time.

Okay, I was telling my husband about your story last night, and he was like, "Wow that went from 0 to 100 like that!" and I was saying, "I know; it was crazy!"

Now to hear it was based on a true story!! He'll love that :D
