The Playground - Week 4 - Day 2
Nov. 16th, 2021 12:19 pm After finishing both "The Girl Next Door" And "American Predator" in the last 48 hours, I'm looking to start something a little more lighthearted. :)
So what are some of the funniest books you've read lately? (Bonus points for audiobooks)

The new Prompt is up: therealljidol.dreamwidth.org/1107400.html
Which does make this the 1 month mark. So roughly halfway through this experiment.
How have you been enjoying it?

In other news, I've been bouncing my car around from auto shop to auto shop because it's making a weird noise and I'd like to get that fixed before I drive 2,000 miles (round-trip) to see my family for Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed it won't be ridiculously expensive to fix! The good news is that my mom is letting me borrow her Miata while my car is in the shop, which is kind of neat. The bad news is that it's a manual transmission and very tiny, so I barely fit in it and hardly know how to drive it. :D

Some of the funniest things I've read lately have been Samantha Irby's books ("Meaty," "Wow, No Thank You," and "We Are Never Meeting In Real Life"). Crude, bawdy, and hilarious. I don't know if there are audiobook versions, but I prefer to do all my own reading. ;)
