GRAP!

You've got a lot on your minds don't you?*g*

Seriously though, I find it fascinating to see people actually talking about the notion of what is and is not ethical behavioral as it pertains to game play.

I don't like the more aspect where people's feelings are hurt, but I love the very notion of having this conversation. Especially reading it while the Super Bowl is on, given how one of the teams got there...(*opens a can of worms and sits back and sees which bird will peck at it*)*g*

***

I've talked to a few people in prviate - yes, I do get the emails and I do try to respond to them as they come in - about "the other" issue from this week where people felt personally attacked by a fellow contestant... and it's been addressed with them. I'm only bringing this up because it does have to be mentioned that this is a game, and like all games there is a strict "you do not personally attack a contestant". It's usually physical that it restricted, but if the line becomes blurred I can and will use my ability to ban a player from the field of the play the same way I would with a troll who came into the community to insult people. It's a fine lines ladies and gentlemen, let's make sure we all stay safely on one side of it.

With that said - there's a cage match going on:

[livejournal.com profile] sideshowbennie vs. [livejournal.com profile] sushimustwrite so make sure to vote to keep your favorite in the running!

Bennie now holds this season's record for the most votes. But will it be enough? We won't know until the final bell rings tomorrow.

I promised [livejournal.com profile] tru2myart, season 2 winner, that I would post her comments on the whole alliance thing in the very next Green Room, since she wasn't sure she would be around. So they should end up as the first comment (unless someone is really, really on the ball...)

Question for the sightlings out there. How has old Tom aged. I haven't "seen" him for ages and my vision has decreased so much that even with my nose plastered to the screen I can't tell. Sigh. So much fun.

John and I were just discussing that. He looks just about the same to me as he did 10 years ago when I listened to him, then John said 20 years ago.

So I looked up how old his is, and I think he either looks pretty good for a 57 year old, or he looked bad as a 37 year old. :)

He's 57? Wow! I am getting old. but Tom's older than me so...hahaha

Yeah, I was curious how old he was so I looked him up on Wiki. He turned 57 in October. I thought he was maybe just barely 50. I couldn't believe he's almost 60.

Always nice to find these things out, isn't it?

Of course, most of the time any more I run into the opposite problem. "They're HOW young? God I'm getting old?" It's really bad when I see the dates of birth on the applicants at work. 75% of them are younger than me by at least 5 years.

Where's my cane again?

I'm sure most of the people on my Flist are younger than me. But it's ok. They'll keep me from getting to be an old crank like I was sitting next to at the restaurant I was at last night. I told Bruno that if I got like that at some point in my older years to please take me out in the back woods and shoot me. I still will never hoarde sugar packets! Never!

If you did, you could just explain that your honoring your inner starving college student.

My freshman year I stole sugar, salt, ketchup, cups, spoons, whatever I thought I might need for dinners in my dorm room. Good thing the cafeteria workers didn't catch me. :)

Well, true. I could always make a grilled cheese sandwich on the iron for old time's sake!

I've wanted to do that ever since I watched Benny and Joon, but I never did.

Well, college kids have it easy now. There is a cookbook dedicated to 101 things you can do with Ramen!

*bleh*

I don't mind ramen, but I can't eat it that often. I had friends in college that ate it right out of the packet, like a cracker.

Although I commend whoever came up with the cookbook.

Let's hope they don't use the seasoning packets.

I think we're around the same age, and like you I'm OK with it too. Although once I had someone drop me from her friends list when she found out I was the same age as her mother.

My mom hoarded sugar packets right up until she went into the nursing home. Not only sugar, but also individual jelly pats, butter pats, and occasionally silverware. Whenever my husband caught her, she said she was taking them for me. Um, yeah *rolls eyes*

Silly to drop someone cuz of age. I'm interested in what people have to say, regardless of how old they are. Once you get stuck in that age thing you end up getting old and crotchety and I will not back down! haha

Me too. I work with a lot of people who are our age who are well into the "old and crotchety" stage. It breaks my heart.
