It's so sad, but I guess it's the best of the bad choices?

I had a chance to message Jen earlier, and from her perspective, this was the right decision. She would make our team SO MUCH STRONGER in ideal circumstances, but right now she has much more important things going on and no way of knowing when or if she might be in a position to play.

And wonderful as it and the people associated with it are, Idol is the last thing she should be worrying about right now.

This was such a sad decision, but Jen - I hope you can come back in later, when life can be a bit kinder to you and your family.

Asaga - we all did what we needed to, and I agree with halfshellvenus. This was the right decision. Jen would keep our team strong, but in real life, which matters more, there is a priority. And if I were in her position, my focus would be on that real-life circumstance, too.

Idol is great, but family is family.

But Jen, your Idol family will be here if you can make it back. We love and support you. *big hugs*

On another note - Asaga, let's go do this! We have our challenge. I KNOW we have the talent. Let's go. :)

I was really sorry to hear the news that Jen's family member was ill. I think it's safe to say that we here are all hoping for the best!
