Speaking of your favorites, I just wanted to give you a heads up that starting next Wednesday (until the following Wednesday), jenwithapen will be hosting the Green Room.

She can't change the deadline or set new topics/results. All she has the authority to do is talk to you "nice folks" in the Green Room.

I have to specify that so you don't start messaging her to save you! :D

I will be busy recharging my evil levels to make sure that when I get back I will be able to dish out the maximum levels of evil that people expect from me! :)

I wasn't going to mention it until Tuesday, but it's on my mind and I didn't want to forget to tell you!

So, I realize that we have a lot of latitude on how we use the prompts (or else I would have been in trouble long before now), but I'm still curious what the Lawrence Kasdan quote is supposed to mean.

"Being a writer is like having homework every night for the rest of your life"

I mean, is it that they never really get to stop working? Or something? I always have a harder time with prompts when I'm not sure exactly what they're supposed to mean (this is one of the reasons I had to take a bye on "sprezzatura").

It means that your Muse may not always be with you, and writing becomes a bit of a chore.

That's my interpretation of it, anyway. 😊😊✌🐭

It could also mean that you feel compelled to write, even if not required, so it's like always having some sort of prompt or assignment hovering all the time because writing is like an art, and you can't give up creating your art.
