Results - Week 8

We have come to that time.

I promised that we would be losing between 2-5 contestants this week. The number ended up being 3.

Had I extended it to people with *1 more vote*, there would have been 6 contestants leaving.
2 more votes - there would have been 8 contestants.
3 votes - 9 contestants
4 - 11 contestants.

I mention this because I think it shows how close this was, and what a difficult decision people had to make.

I will also say that this is vote featured the post transparent attempt of someone to cast multiple ballots. (Not a contestant or anyone that seems close to anyone.) I will say though that had I counted all of those ballots, it still wouldn't have changed anything.

As is, we ended up losing 3.

3 dear friends of Idol, who I hope we are going to be seeing fighting for a chance to come back via Second Chance! That's my solace here, knowing how close we are to Second Chance.
