today I am tired and lazy.
Yesterday I went to see At Eternity's Gate and met the star Willem Dafoe after.
Then walked in pouring rain and got food at Trader Joe's.
I don't have any ideas for the prompt yet.

Today has been - a day. I finished my Idol entry yesterday afternoon, and IT IS NOT DEPRESSING! So we'll see how that goes over, since people usually expect... harshness from me. But I haven't slept in almost 24 hours, and honestly, cannot go to sleep due to obligations to my kid and family that continue until at least 11 pm. 8 1/2 hours to go. And I can't have caffeine.

Send help. And new eyes, because mine feel like sandpaper.

Yeah, it's been VERY rough. I think I'm on the verge of some sort of virus and my body is fighting it, so I'm not sleeping, and I have a huge bout of seasonal depression telling me I'm not good enough to write/work/eat/sleep/you name it, so... I'm hoping exhaustion will just kick me into my bed by 11 pm. If I don't nod off (no driving for me, luckily) between right now and 11, all will be well.

Cyber hugs are always a good thing, and I will not refuse them! Thank you! *hugs*

Ugh, ugh, ugh. I'm sorry you're feeling so tired and strung out and cannot fix it until the 11 pm timer pops! :( :(

Thanks. And yeah, I have done everything possible, and just - nothing is working. When 20 mg of Valium won't even do it, you just have to hope that you'll be naturally tired enough come 11 pm. And I can sleep until 10 am, so fortunately, I don't have to get up early tomorrow! But I am so tired now. 7 hours to go... :)

Anyway what was the question? Oh! How am I? I'm good. The sun came out for a bit which made me feel obligated to go out, but I didn't want to, as I'm having a relaxing day at home. Luckily, that's over and the sun is hiding behind the clouds again so I can feel free to bask in the glow of Christmas lights and my computer screen. I may go read a book. And then write an entry? Maybe the other way around? I dunno, my brain is still percolating with ideas for this one...

The important thing is I'm spending my day in my jammies and that is exactly what I wanted to do today, so hooray for that!! :D

Oof. I'm sorry you're not feeling well! Dealt with that earlier this month, myself. :(

I am...okay? Major deadline looming, but my parts are finished (for the moment...there will be more revisions soon, I imagine). Waiting on the rest of the team to send it to the big boss. Feeling okay, at the moment. Boyfriend promised to make dinner tonight. :)
