Because it's almost time to get back to torture, surrounded by the people you love to read - but who are out to kill you. Literally murder you... or at least literaryly murder you. ;)

As I just posted in my "entry," I spent the entire break trying not to succumb to the Killer Death Plague. I'm very grateful it was a break week.

Oh yes! Avoid Killer Death Plague! Too many people are succumbing to it, it's sweeping North America and it's ugly.

So good for you, on two counts.

Well, I wrote for the break week and it was harder than I thought it was going to be, but I think that's a good thing.

On Thursday, and Friday I took care of things that had been piling up and on Saturday I was able to get to services. Yes!

Today I've been finishing my entry, piddling around doing chores slowly like I have all the time in the world and enjoying myself, immensely. I haven't even had breakfast yet! That's how slowly I'm moving. LOL!

Tatiana was home so we did a lot of things. We went to the Renaissance Festival, we saw Crimes of Grindlewald, we had steak for thanksgiving, we went to dinner at her favorite place and we watched tv and movies and did crafts and played with the baby. I feel like I’m missing something. It was so nice to have her home. I was sad she left. Today we bought Teddy a new, bigger car seat.

We mostly spent time with our kids, who were home from college, and ate too much-- partly because rayaso decided to make two different kinds of pies plus another pumpkin-pie-like thing, plus all the usual food. Also cookies for the kids to take back to school. /o\

There was rain, which was welcome after the fires and smoke, and a beautiful sunny day today before we head back into some more rain on Tuesday.

I saw Crazy Rich Asians yesterday with our daughter, which was as good as everyone said. And namely, featured a couple that was more young-30s than young 20s, which makes a difference to me. :)
