And of course,  my epic struggle to get people to accept that Samhain Eve Day is a thing - and that people should be celebrating it!  Happy Samhain Eve Day!  The traditional way of celebrating it is, of course, sending me gifts!

The ancient Celts used to do that all the time. No, you don't need to go fact check that! I just told you that it was true!

Will Samhain help with my entry? I had an idea and it went away, with nothing to replace it. Perhaps the ancient Celts, if properly motivated, could help me. What would they need? Perhaps some kind of sacrifice. Will they take candy? We always seem to have a surplus after Halloween, although it too disappears.

As a born Celt, though not quite ancient, I can assure you candy, or anything sweet, will more than suffice. ;-)

I had too many ideas for this topic. I wrote more than one and it turned into a whole big emotional dumping ground.

I think I finally got one to be coherent, though. Not enjoyable, but finished.

A strangely difficult prompt. I too struggled then ended up with too much unworkable material. Not sure how to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Struggles...

~There's a fun little thing called PMDD that kicked my ass this week.

~I can't figure out how to get images to transfer from Flickr to DW. Anyone figure that out yet?

~I'm getting married tomorrow and I really should put a hem in my skirt.

How can I make them better?

*Well, hopefully, this Midol I'm about to take is going to knock off one issue.

*The Flickr thing is going to make me curse like a sailor until I get it figured out.

*And the hem...well...I'm going to have some candy, drink a Dr. Pepper, and we'll see if I can motivate myself to the sewing machine before 10PM tonight.

As for pictures, I have a free wordpress blog/account, and it's easy to put photos in there, and then link to the image using an img src html tag. That is how I handle images. so it's: (img src="http://image.jpg") but use < > instead of ( ). Good luck!

I use Flickr to post my pictures as well. Click on the picture that you want to use. On the bottom right of the screen you'll see an arrow that when you hover over it, says 'share photo'. Click on that, choose 'embed' and you'll be able to copy and past into the html tab on DW.

My piece is running away from me and becoming quite long and I don't know how to tame it! >.
