Due to severe, and unexpected circumstances I need to push the deadline for Second Chance Idol's first topic back to Monday http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/986817.html So you have a little extra time to make sure you are going to get something in.

I'm OK. There are just some "adulting" things that I wish I didn't have to deal with, but I do.

Anyone want to trade? You can be the responsible one and I can go be fun and just have a good time?

I just spent the last few days trying to fix a friend's computer... and just had to give them the bad news that their hard drive appears to have been utterly corrupted beyond hope. They didn't bother backing up their data, so several years worth of personal information and e-mail have been lost, and they're so freaking angry/upset right now that I truly fear that they may hurt themselves.

Hope you folks have had better days...

This is one of those "adulting" times when the "quick resolution" would probably be the worst result. But I hope that other adults on the scene start acting like it and help get the situation heading in the "right direction", or at least a better one.

I love PokeHunting! My son liked it a lot last summer but now he doesn't care. My husband and I still like to go! We go to the Square in our little town and stop by the growler store for some beer first, then walk around catching things!

Adulting can suck, but is sadly necessary once in a while. You got this.

My kiddos weren't here this weekend so we have NOT been adulting since Friday, just catching up on a lot of DVR. We watched the entire first half of this season's Last Man on Earth. It's taken a rather dark turn. And several episodes of Orange is the New Black, and Brooklyn 99. And a movie...

We've eaten loads of junk food - I bought one of those massive jugs of cheeseballs for the occasion!- and our Girl Scout cookies arrived last week so we snarfed those down too.

Today, I need to adult a bit. Laundry, house cleaning. But it was awesome to do nothing at all for 36 hours.

In the realm of mildly amusing juxtaposition, my husband and I took a hike this morning. There were only 200' of elevation change, but we went up and down and up and down that 200'.

We have a historical district not too far from my house that gets a bunch of rare spawns and a nice variety of stuff, especially if you walk through the park (which is right now an Onix nest) and around the Green and stuff. I love going down there but it's coooold right now so I tend to stay in my car xD
