I finally was able to go see Captain America: Civil War this afternoon.

As someone who used to be a huge comics fan (and recently got back into reading them, in part because of the MCU movies) I really enjoyed it. Which is strange considering how much I *hated* that crossover. That was one of the reasons why I *stopped* picking up Marvel comics. I disliked the very concept of it, and definitely hated what they did to Tony Stark during it and how it shaped it after the fact. (and of course, as someone who loved the character of Bill Foster, that will never stop pissing me off!)

I saw Civil War today, too! I really, really enjoyed it. My only real interaction with the Marvel universe has been the movie and television stuff, though. Still, it was so much better than Age of Ultron. It was pretty delightful, even without that contrast.

Haven't seen it yet, although it's on the docket. SO's a huge Marvel fan. Me, not so much but I always end up liking something about every movie I've seen thus far.

There's a civil war brewing at my desk between me and Tiny Tabitha with the Cold Paws if she doesn't stop trying to love up on me while I'm playing games on my computer. Love you bunches, kitten, but there's a skeleton after me and I really need to concentrate on filling it with arrows right now.

Teenson thought "Civil War" was OK, which was possibly high praise. He has entered that phase where enthusiasm is definitely not cool. For now, "OK" is as good as it gets. I think grunting comes next.
