Green Room - Week 14 - Day 1

I went out this morning to perform my civic duty and voted.

I cast my vote for the best candidate - the one we, as a nation, *need* to truly bring us all together again!

I voted for Zombie Abe Lincoln! He will unite a nation and eat the brains of our foes!

So make sure to get out there and vote for him - before he comes to you to find out why you didn't!!!*

(*Note: This only applies for US Presidential Elections in states with primaries today. For 'Merica elections - there is no such thing. I am Emperor for Life!)

Those coming out of the Gauntlet know a thing or two about short deadlines, but everyone else haven't had to deal with it so far this mini-season. Given how close we are to the end of Teams, and the end of byes is right on the other side of that, this is the sort of week that is bound to cause some shakeups!

(But not as many as President Zombie Abe Lincoln is going to cause during his first 100 days in office!)

Hate the short deadline, especially on the heels of the DST shift. Bleargh...

I had to get up early for a meeting this morning, which would be okay in a week or two... but today meant getting up 1 1/2 hours early "personal bio-clock time," which resulted in not sleeping at all last night. Argh.

Who knows what I'll write? My brain is so fried right now. :(

That's my main concern. Relations between zombies and vampires are tense enough as it is, and I feel that Zombie Abe is throwing gas on the flames by targeting the rotting undead.

Question: When will the home game start? I really want to try something a little out there (basically, now that I'm out of the main competition and can play around a little more easily, I want to try and write on ALL the topics every week and post them one per day to keep my writing momentum up).

That's good writing practice! I've been meaning to do something similarly, but so far, haven't gotten to it yet. It's cool hearing someone else is thinking along those lines too. The prompts are great, and sometimes it is hard to settle on one. It's cool to explore the rest, if there's time! :)
