I promised an update on the mini-season start date, so here it is:

As is standard for a mini season, there will be a $5 donation per contestant. However, as part of the Patreon incentives, anyone signing up a $5 level has the option of getting a "+1 entry" for anyone who signs up for that before Nov 1st. Oh geez... well, you can always transcribe for him. ;)

Yeah, it definitely isn't "affordable". I probably could have paid for it with my severance check from my old job BUT I needed that to make sure all of my bills were paid. As is, thanks to that and unemployment (oh, and an unexpected check from my Father) , I was able to get through that gap without missing any payments. (no extra money, but it got me through)

Yeah, I actually *do* have a new job now. Oddly enough, I wouldn't be starting this if I didn't... I'd have more *time*, but I also would be needing to devote that time toward finding a job. My new benefits don't kick in until the middle of next month though. (again, I'm realizing that I've said this in the new FAQs which no one except myself has read, because I'm still working on them! :D)

My birthday was pretty good. Thanks for asking! :)
