Oh man, that week was rough. I think if more of us had seen it coming... but even then, yeah, it would have been hard. We were working closely *with* our partners, never imagining it was going to be in a poll *against* them (at least, I never imagined, trusting soul that I was back then), and just ouch. I was one of the people who kind of rolled with it well enough, but I was still damned relieved when that poll was thrown out, even though I was also pretty disturbed that it was at the same time (I never like to hear that there's been shenanigans of any sort with the voting). I just really didn't want to see my partner go home! Or me, for that matter! I think it would be verrrry different if we knew what we were getting into. Less of a gut-punch. Heh. ;)

kickthehobbit has been talking for a while about a writing duels kind of thing. I think you would really enjoy it. :)
