Favorite childhood memory? EEK, can I remember back that far? ;)
I worked all weekend. I'm on vacation this week! I'm going to be spending it recovering from the work hell I just went through for almost three weeks straight *shudder*
Neat new topic... of course, I wrote this in my NaNo several years ago, so I will have to find a new twist.
[Don't forget to take a gander at my Contestants Poll (http://spydielives.livejournal.com/1590933.html) if you haven't already. I have just over 34% checking in so far.
Weekend was great. But I am so nervous about this first week. I don't write a lot about my childhood. I'm always interested in people who remember and write these really detailed and heartwarming and interesting accounts of their childhood... eek. I hope I can do a good job this time around.
And I refuse to use my Bye Week until I absolutely have to. Because knowing me, I'm gonna have to at some point.
Morning! My weekend wasn't to bad. Lots of the usual... Lots of homework and attempts at being productive with it. After a 2nd DJ crapping out at the last minute, I was worried the Masquerade Ball wouldn't be a success but in the end we had a little over a hundred people show up so I would say it went well.
Well, it doesn't have to be glossy and heartwarming. It's all about what YOUR experience was, even if all you remember are colored blurs and surges of emotion. I'd LOVE to read that...almost more honest than the way we sugarcoat happy memories.
I already made a list of either unique experiences I've had or odd memories or hobbies so that I have a quick point of reference list when I brainstorm myself into a drooling mess. ;D
AAARGGHHHHHHHHH *headdesk* What am I thinking of? trying to write a novel (NaNoWriMo), finding out the file is corrupting so having to patch it back together from code, having to push our developers to get software ready for release by End of Month, Testing said software
and LJIdol?
Why yes, I will have a drink of battery acid please, and kindly turn up the voltage on these nipple clamps.

Beyond that...not ready to face Monday yet.

Now Monday's come.
Lo and alas, there's work to be done.
One task already stands complete.
The first challenge I was quick to meet!
