Sorry I'm being so contrary with you today! Buuut...

OMG EVERY THIRD WEEK IS WAY TOO MUCH. I've actually left or called into work three times because of Idol stuff, and two of those were for intersections. I've had to cancel and re-arrange social and travel plans a ton of times to get an intersection done, and the "monkeywrench thrown into my social and professional life" hassle doesn't even factor in the mess that can result from the ever-present risk of not being personally\creatively compatible with your partner, or getting someone who refuses to communicate (IDGAF if you have social anxiety, I ain't getting voted out for your ass!), or god knows what else. A few intersections in a season is a good way to shake shit up, sure, but there comes a point where it goes from a fun ride with some unexpected loop-de-loops to the proverbial barfing in the bushes that was discussed in the GR the other day.
