It’s that time again. Time for the polls!

Before we get to that, we do have to say goodbye to deza who, unfotunately, did not make the deadline. She shall most definitely be missed. (and I hope everything is OK!)

And yet, nothing is attached. What is happening? *consults Pocket Guide to Idol* Ah, yes. It’s a CONTESTANT ONLY vote. If you are currently a contestant in LJ Idol: Exhibit B, read the entries, make a list of your 30 favorites, and then send me that list to clauderainsrm@gmail.com

Can you send me more? I’d rather you didn’t. Could you send me less? I’d rather you didn’t do that either. But pick out what you like the best, and let me know.

We will be losing between 4 -8 contestants this round. (depending on where the dividing line ends up being)

Sorry guys. Worked this weekend, dealt with a heatstoking kid (her boss forgot to bring water to the carnival), worked a double shift today and had to put together a presentationfor town gov't movers and shakers ttomorrow. Oh and there was lawn mowing, dishes and laundry in there too. Maybe next go round.

It's ok. I feel that "writer's remorse" every time I do one of those brutally honest, bare-my-soul, written in blood entries. It's scary to write, then it feels like a relief, then a few hours later, or as soon as someone else might read it, it feels like the Biggest Mistake Evar!

But then someone reads it and says it helped them somehow or they got something good out of it, or they've been there, and that's kind of awesome.

Just keep breathing in and out. It'll be ok. ;)

Is there anyway to make it visible only to select people? Like, maybe create a filter for all the contestants and then hide it from everyone but them?

I don't think so: you can grant someone access to your journal without them reciprocating, and they can still see your entries. (I learned this the hard way when the same people I wrote about were creepin' on my blog with an old account I had friended but forgotten about.)

Hmm. Of course, I've already got you friended so I couldn't help you test that theory. Maybe somebody who hasn't friended it is willing to help you check that method out with a test entry first?
