therealljidolNow we come to the worst part of the week - the eliminations post. All the fun goes out of the room, and we deal with the business at hand.
The proper place to start is with Second Chance Idol, since those are the people who will be actually leaving us for real this week.

As for the other two tribes, the people leaving those will be joining SCI - two people were scheduled to be coming from the Sudden Death Tribe. But there was yet another tie. Which means that whilem1ss1ngcupcake will be leaving, the other two will be facing a much different fate.
From the main competition, nine of them will be joining SCI. They are:

Except of course, this is the week that I got engaged, which means that I am in an exceptionally good mood - so I dissolved SCI before the poll officially ended - so no one is going home from there - and since there is no SCI to go to this week, no one else is going there either.
Starting Week 4, everyone is back in the main competition. No Second Chances. No Sudden Deaths. Just a battle to the finish. Good luck with that, you’re going to need it!

Date: 2013-06-07 02:19 am (UTC)I don't know if Gary intentionally worded it to confuse everybody, but to me it sounds like Malruniel and Talenae are both out and everybody else is back in.
If the people going to SCI this week were going to be eliminated outright instead, I would think he would have said that. Ditto those left standing in Sudden Death.

1. Maybe for no reason just to torture us.
2. Maybe because some people have been hitting multiple topics without declaring and he's torturing them.
3. Maybe he wants them declared because next week you have to do a different one and he wants to know who did what.
4. Maybe because the polls are going to be topic specific, so instead of the bottom twelve vote-getters from a poll with everyone being eliminated, the bottom three from each of four topic polls is eliminated, whether or not the lowest in the "shadow children" poll has more votes than the 4th lowest in the "does this look infected poll," and regardless of whether three people choose to write one topic and twenty-seven people choose to write another.
There could be other reasons. Hell, there probably are lots of them.
