I'm just bummed 'cause I made a quick notification to a friend on my journal and forgot that it was April First and I should have... I dunno. Made some kind of new character-me to just be a jerk at everyone.

Maybe I'll do that anyway.

I was SOOO sucked in by this. My heart fell through the floor, no joke. Maybe that just shows how fatigued I really am. Or perhaps I'm just gullible ;D

Anyway, I'm just popping into a Green Room to say, sorry I haven't commented on ANY entries this week, not even my friends' entries... life just got a whole lot busier over the past few days! I hope to catch up on some sleep this weekend and promise I'll do better next week.

Woohoo! My music video view count has reached past 400 views today :D

I know there were some non-flisters who'd been interested in seeing it at some point, so if said folks are still interested, here's a link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsnasDsX_G4) to the music video I shot in Hawaii. If you recall, I wrote a couple of Idol entries about the experience. :)

(Watch, share, etc. I want to see how many views I can get and it didn't quite go as viral as I'd hoped, though I am still pretty impressed with that many views, since it's still more than 100 more than any of my other videos on YouTube.)

This reminds me of several years ago when Google tried to convince people they could pre-date e-mails to send them from earlier and my friend spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get it to work.

I'm going to be on high alert today. I'm naive at times, but I'm likely to remember the date and not believe anything I hear...so if you have important news to share, don't make it today or I won't believe the truth :p

No jokes planned except one on me. I'm getting my taxes prepared. FUN stuff. I won't do the whole pregnancy joke most girls play. It's overdone and knowing Idol's history, I wouldn't want to jinx myself...not to mention, give my poor boy a heart attack!

I wonder how many of my coworkers think my announcing I was leaving the office for 10 days starting today is a joke.

This is my first real go somewhere vacation since 2008; and I can not *wait* to get on the road later today, even though it means all sorts of interesting issues tomorrow with Idol.

You took a pregnancy test?!? Or is that another April Fools Day thing? I don't need a test to know I'm not pregnant thankfully...though the other day when I went to make a regular doctors appointment, I happened to call an "infertility specialist" and they had a good laugh when I realized my insurance company mis labeled what they do! Uhh no thanks to fertility drugs for me, I'm aiming for the opposite right now!

I figured it wasn't a joke *hugs* I'll try to respond soon. I should get to work since I'm leaving early today and because it's Friday...but yeah, that's a joke too :p

LOL, no, I didn't take a test, it was a joke, because you can't take a test to determine if someone else is pregnant :P This just wasn't specific to April Fool's. I would've said it on a normal day if you'd made a comment like that.

It's a big day around here. My mom is having Grandparents' Tea with my daughter at school. Then Grandpa is coming home from the rehab facility!!! He's been bouncing between rehab and the hospital since he had his pacemaker put in at the beginning of December. So this will be his first time home in about four months. We're getting some food from his favorite Italian restaurant to celebrate, and I actually remembered to bring my camera with me today.

Right now I'm watching my baby, my baby nephew and my toddler, so my hands are a little full, but I wanted to pop into the GR while one of them was sleeping :)
