Yes! The last two years, I knit so much in the week before christmas that I had wonky hands for days.

Yeah, after last year ended in tears and cramped hands (which never should have happened since the year before ended with me getting an hour of sleep before Christmas), and knowing my schedule for this year, I told everyone in April they weren't getting handmade gifts. This is the first time in easily 5 years that I've bought gifts. Now, because I gave my sister her gift almost two months ago (a weighted heatable eye pack for her sinus issues), I needed a replacement gift. She's still wearing the shawl I made her almost 10 years ago and it's looking a bit tattered. So I told her I was making her a new one so she would quit looking like an orphan. lol.
