Date: 2010-12-01 03:05 am (UTC)And, I always find it interesting when people comment about how this should be all about the writing. This is not a "writing" competition as much as it is a "blogging" competition, imo.
If you want to sink or swim on the writing alone, sell your stuff to publishers. That's pretty much the only guaranteed way I can think of to make sure that you're not getting a sympathy/popularity vote.
