Date: 2010-05-12 05:11 pm (UTC)If you go to Account > Privacy Settings > Profile Information, the second setting is Likes and Interests. In the drop down menu, there is an option to customize. You can then authorize only custom friends groups to see this section.
Basically, the FB friend groups system works like LJ filters; you can use them for privacy, customizing what parts of your profile or activity show up (and even which groups you appear online to in the chat program), and you can use them for your own following interest (like when you use your filters to view your friends page).
So, you can create a custom group that's allowed to see that section, and then customize your privacy preferences to reflect that.
