Oh that's right! Glee was on last night! I let the roomie have control of the remote because I was raiding. Guess I should go watch it now? Is it up already? *wanders off*

Oh but um first! Meaningless information about my day that I have deemed interesting enough to tell an entire room of "strangers"...

I have to go shopping! Grocery essentials are becoming... essential to buy, and now. I also have to get wrapping paper. Don't tell my brother, but I got him THIS (http://www.abramsbooks.com/Books/The_Simpsons_Futurama_Crossover_Crisis-9780810988378.html) for a graduation present from college. Go lil bro! :D

And everyone should be proud of me. I mowed the lawn yesterday after must consternation about it all. I was afraid mowing would disrupt my baby grasslings. I saw a bunch of little sprouts when I was out there, so hopefully I'll have a green lawn soon! :D

Off to see the wizard! Hope everyone else is having a good day! Supposed to rain all day today, woooo....

Well, I made it home in one piece through the bear-and-moose infested backwoods! Seriously, the road I took to get from the interstate to Bax/Farm's place cut through the mountains -- two lane, twisty-turvey, gorgeous views of the river -- and there were ACTUAL WARNIING SIGNS about BEARS and MOOSE there! In Massachusetts! WTF?!?

I got to meet xo_kizzy_xo yesterday. She really does exist and this is a good thing.

Amazingly, I'm not in the mood for Mexican food. Depressing isn't it?

It's off to work I go. I hope everyone is busily writing entries so I have something to read. The few I've been able to read thus far have been good.

I feel like crapola and will be late to work, but I am going to drag my carcass out the door. Go me! It is beautiful and sunny outside.

We had a DVR fail, and Lost did not record! Will catch on ABC. Com or Hulu somehow.
I did see Glee though and that was fun. Big Mike rocked on American Idol too.

I was typing up my entry yesterday, but the words were not flowing very well, and now someone else has an entry about the same "theme" I guess, so I either come up with something new, or I continue with the entry that is already nearly finished (just have to type it up). Dilemmas!

Also, I woke up at noon today, so did the little one. I probably have the kid who sleeps the latest in the world at this age lol.

Good morning! I got my entry posted last night and I'm pleased with that. Also have been applying to more jobs... have lowered my standards a bit, because getting something and being able to look for something better is better than having nothing at all. So spent a nice chunk of time last night on applying, too.

In crap news, I got informed that I have to take an earlier lunch break today because my manager can't handle adjusting schedules when someone is out sick. This sucks because I have problems with my blood sugar and eating an hour earlier than usual means that I'm going to be frakked this afternoon (it also means I'm not going to be hungry AT ALL when the time comes). I really feel like you DO NOT mess with someone's eating schedule. So, I'm going to be extra grumpy today.

Although it makes me feel much happier about the prospect of resigning. I'm thinking that the letter happens on Friday! That's my goal right now. Scary and exciting for a number of reasons.

G'morning! Hubby and I safely arrived in Myrtle Beach around 10pm last night. I got to drive the last 120 miles here as he was completely exhausted by 7:30 pm, having had to work the previous night - phew!

We slept in this morning, and are thinking of going here (http://www.myrtlebeachsafari.com/) to the T.I.G.E.R.S. (The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species) Preservation Station today and get our photo taken holding a tiger cub (for a fee of $59 that goes towards helping to save endangered species). I'm all about cute animals!

I missed Glee last night. I simply forgot it was on until it was over. I hardly ever turn the TV on, just not a TV person really. I will catch it on Hulu AFTER I write my entry.

Which speaking of my entry...umm yeah. That's not going so great again this week. The only topic I can think of writing on (and which I have something written for) is not something I am sure I want to share with the world yet. So working on a backup plan at the moment.

It took almost 2 more years before I actually got clean, but Cinco de Mayo 2002 marks the turning point in my life.

I've written a first draft but have to tiker with it this afternoon. I'm highly distracted because my mom was admitted into the hospital this morning with vomiting and chest pain. They've been running various tests in her today, so my job is to wait snd see what happens. Needless to say, I didn't get to work and am home with the kids for the time being.

Witnessed a very disturbing incident on Monday afternoon involving a dead body and gawking students with cameras out. Still trying to sort it all out in my head.

I hope that when I go, it is either in private or in such a way that my body is totally obliterated.

I am feeling... weird. The internet and phones were out at work all day, so I haven't really done much, even though it feels like I've been really busy.

I may take a few things home with me, just to look over. Although, I may not, because I know myself and I won't work on them, anyway.

My friend suggested a beer and a bubble bath, and that idea is sounding more and more likely to become a reality tonight.

Actually I have three beers in the fridge... so if anyone wants to join, I'm up for it.
