No one has really addressed her age as the factor that it is, and should be considered. If she was a slightly older cat, a few days at home wouldn't hurt. But, kittens need attention to keep them from getting into the kind of trouble that is not just annoying, but potentially dangerous. The fact is, if she eats something she shouldn't (like gorilla glue), or breaks something glass and cuts herself, or accidentally starts a fire, or some other ridiculous emergency that kittens shouldn't get into, but somehow might, and you're not there, it would be a tragic awakening to come home to the aftermath too late to help her. If she does something stupid when you're around though, you can kiss her booboos and make them all better, and everyone goes home happy.
