We aren't even 24 hours into this and already the voting totals are up across the board. Some are higher than others, but then again some people come out of the blocks faster. It's the totals at the end that will matter and just watching the *current bottom* I've got a feeling that it's going to be close.

I know from reading the entries it will be - there is just *so much* quality material out there that regardless of what the end vote total is I just have a distinct feeling of loss regardless of who ends up going. It's going to be someone really good. Heck, it's going to be *10 people* who are really good.

I just hope that those people know that anyone leaving the game at this point has a lot to be proud about!

No it's not.

That's what happens when you are sick and post. You start a sentence going one way with a "no one has anything to be ashamed about", realize that it sounds like maybe someone going before this point *does* (which is totally not true either, people win by just showing up for something like this IMO.) and change the tone but forget to change the rest of the sentence. . .

and then ramble on and on in an explanation before grabbing a blanket, some cold medicine and plenty of liquids and crashing on the couch for awhile. . .

Good morning! Just hanging out. I got a new CD cabinet for the overflow of CD's I have and am labeling them and organizing. Sounds exciting doesn't it? (I have to labelt he cases in Braille so I know what I have). So that is my project for the weekend really. And of course finishing entries and voting. It's very very cold here. Hope all are having a great weekend!

Yeah, but did you make sure nobody can get their hands on any 2x4's? And what about the kitchen? I have the feeling we are about to descend into some of the scrappin'est hand-to-hand fighting--excuse me, "reading"--we've seen yet.

I'm just getting up and deciding whether I want to make my uber macaroni and cheese (that is to say, box mac with sour cream instead of milk, and Cheezits crushed in just before it's done) or this really neat thing Delorean and I saw on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives last night - it's like a pancake with corn in it, covered with black beans, then nachos ingredients on top.

The polls are close, and I finally sent my spreadsheet home to myself so I could keep entering numbers and watching totals fluctuate. I should be helping paint today, but I'm claiming illness... you people and your giving of colds through the interwebs!!!
