Green Room - Week 3 - Day 3

There are some days when I hate this job.

This is definitely one of them. Because I have to break some bad news.

I’d much rather be announcing that I will eliminate 50 of you in a poll, or that I have “accidentally” confused the swimming pool and the shark tank again, while “apologizing” that the “Idol family swim party” ended so badly!

Today, I’m announcing that two Idolers need to drop out. The first one is pen_name. She will definitely be missed, I was looking forward to the development of the story and the big reveal… but that will just have to wait for a time when she has more time. Everything is OK with her, other than the things that are so very obviously wrong with her! : )

The other one though is a bit of a shock to those who have been following along this season: oneonthefence is going back to the hospital for the next couple of weeks, effective immediately, and won’t be able to continue to participate. If you’ve followed her throughout her time in Idol, you know what a rollercoaster her life has been. One of those old wooden coasters where they haven’t repaired it in 60 years or so…

A few words from clauderainsrm:

Today has been a perfect storm situation as far as Idol goes. At least for those remaining in the competition. Because with every person who goes out, there is one less person standing between you and the ultimate prize!

Then again, given that this is a short season, that was bound to happen. It happens in the regular seasons, but by this time of year folks are usually holding on by their fingertips!

Mark one more off the list of folks you have to beat - due to “real life” (whatever that is) stuff, nyxocity is leaving us.

In addition, due to missing the deadline - we have a few folks who are leaving here and going to get one more shot in Second Chance Idol They are:

bookishgeek, mezzogiorno, sneakishfrog and yuniebaby

For the rest of you though, it’s time to get back down to business!

We have a poll, and a hell of a lot of fun entries!

We will be losing the bottom six to the ranks of SCI!
