Some are friends.

Some are rivals.

Most are both.

But in the world of LJ Idol, they are all included, and facing off every week… or maybe they are just writing entries for their own amusement… but either way, they are facing off in a literary death match the likes of which the world has never seen!*

(*Unless the world has seen another season of LJ Idol, in which case, the likes of which the world has seen for almost a decade)

We had a lot of byes this week - and last week. Which means that some folks are opting to fly by the seat of their pants for the rest of the competition. Or perhaps find a team willing to take them in and share their bye pool. Either way, it will be interesting to see if the gamble pays off.

For those who didn’t do that - those who met the challenge and find themselves in this week’s poll… from what I’ve read so far, this looks there is a lot of really good reading to be found!

We will again be losing one from each section. (One from the Friends/Teams and One from the Rivals/Individuals side of things) - a total of two contestants.

So make sure you support your favorites, to keep them in the hunt one more week!
