I heard a cool story this morning. I'll use the user names since most of you might know one of these people, but not the other. So at least you'll have user names to go by! :)

I got a message from spydielives who is on a cruise. She mentioned that it was fun hanging out with "other creatives", so I assume it's a writers cruise of some kind.

Soon after getting on board, she looked over and recognized someone. She walked over - and sure enough, it was bettybaker. (Best known for being a finalist in Season 3 as well as designing several Idol promotional banners in Seasons 4 and 5).

They met via Idol, and had friended each other in various social media since (including FB), but lived on opposite coasts. Now they are hanging out on a cruise together.

Somehow, Idol is bringing people together - years later, out in the middle of the ocean.
